Yajaira Vera
Yajaira Cristina Vera Roldán (born April 3, 1964 in Caracas, Venezuela) is Miss Venezuela 1988. She represented her country in Miss Universe 1988 placing as one of the 10 semifinalists and won the very first Miss Globe International pageant in 1988.
==Miss Venezuela==
She was supposed to represent Táchira in the 1987 Miss Venezuela national pageant, she was eventually replaced by another contestant called Rosalinda Serfaty Rosenstock. But neither Yajaira or Rosalinda represented Táchira. That year that andean state didn't have delegate in Miss Venezuela. Upon joining the pageant a year later, this time as the representative of Miranda, she won the title and was sent to Taipei, Taiwan as the representative of Venezuela for the Miss Universe pageant, where she placed among the 10 semi-finalists.〔
